TESTAMENT To Support JUDAS PRIEST In Canada

Veteran San Francisco Area thrashers TESTAMENT will support British metal legends JUDAS PRIEST on their previously announced Canadian dates:

July 23 - Save On Foods Memorial Centre - Victoria, BC
July 24 - General Motors Place - Vancouver, BC
July 26 - McMahon Stadium - Calgary, AB (Monsters Of Rock)
July 27 - Shaw Conference Centre - Edmonton, AB
July 29 - Credit Union Centre - Saskatoon, SK
July 30 - MTS Centre - Winnipeg, MB

TESTAMENT frontman Chuck Billy announced onstage on April 6 at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York City that his band has been confirmed as the opening act on the JUDAS PRIEST, HEAVEN AND HELL and MOTRHEAD U.S. tour in August.

"We'll be on first, and we're only gonna have 30 minutes, so we won't be doing any talking," Billy said. "We're just gonna hit you hard bam, bam, bam, bam with everything we've got."

According to the Beaver County Times, tickets for the August 16, 2008 concert at the Post-Gazette Pavilion at StarLake in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania featuring HEAVEN AND HELL, JUDAS PRIEST, MOTRHEAD and TESTAMENT will go on sale on Friday, April 25 at 10:00 a.m., priced $20 to $100.

Pollstar.com the companion web site of the concert industry's leading trade publication on April 2 released what appear to be several more dates for the forthcoming North American tour featuring HEAVEN AND HELL, JUDAS PRIEST, MOTRHEAD and TESTAMENT.

Although there has been no official confirmation regarding the much-rumored trek, Pollstar.com listed (and subsequently removed) the following TESTAMENT arena dates during the month of August (except where otherwise noted):
